The last 23rd Gran Paradiso Film Festival event of the Trilogy of the castles will be held on Sunday, August 2, in Aymavilles. A unique moment of great natural cinema, outdoor activities and local gastronomic traditions.
The appointment will start with the “Favó at the Festival” during which the “favó”, a dish of local tradition, will be presented. The Gran Paradiso Film Festival intends to emphasize the culture of Gran Paradiso and its traditional foods through this initiative, strongly encouraged by the local Administration, and organized in collaboration with the Administration and the Proloco of Aymavilles, the Aosta Delegation of the Italian Academy of Cuisine and Fondation Grand Paradis. During the presentation, the history of this dish of Ozein will be explained and the audience could try its unique taste.
In the evening the screenings of “Wild Way of the Vikings” by Nigel Pope and Jackie Savery and “Quand les animaux emménagent en ville: La grande forêt de l’Est” by Sébastien Lafont and Guy Beauché, while in the afternoon, at the sport area of Aymavilles, “Aria di Festival” will propose the ancient art “Japanese Kyudo”, which combines the practice of archery with meditation.
